Sullivan Arena
The Sullivan Arena is the shortened version of the officially named George M. Sullivan Arena, and an even shorter version is “The Sully”. In the last frontier of Alaska Anchorage is the largest draw in the state. The Sullivan Arena plays host to great Hockey in the ECHL Alaska Aces. MMA is also one of the biggest draws in the Sullivan Arena. Every year the Sullivan Arena is fortunate to hold the Alaska Fighting Championship. Seating capacity varies by event but the top of the range for concerts is about 8700, which is large enough to bring in top named acts. In 2017 Luke Bryan is making a stop in Anchorage at the Sully. The Sullivan Arena is home to many types of events such as Boxing, Hockey, Basketball, MMA, Concerts, and more.
